PUSSY RIOT found guilty of ‘hooliganism’ by Russian judge

Moscow, Russia – “But your honor, my clients allegedly perpetrated the act of hooliganism–not to be confused with shenanigans, ruckus, or overall tomfoolery.”

Yes, the Russian female punk rock band PUSSY RIOT was found guilty of the jovial act of hooliganism. They will likely serve 3 years in prison for this nonviolent offense in which they merely spoke out against Putin with a series of actions and words (a musical performance). A bold stance in the face of a government that finds being shamed very tough to deal with. So tough, in fact, that they heave you and your expressionist band into the clink for it. Wow, Russia. You and your main man Putin sure can’t take a joke. Did you have the KGB infiltrate the band’s rehearsals to gather more intelligent data or was just one performance at a cathedral enough evidence to convict? This is very akin to Rage Against The Machine’s performance at the NYSE a number of years ago. Had RATM played that gig at a similar spot in Moscow, Zack and friends would be clawing at the walls of a prison cell maybe even still today. Viva La Russia….not!
