Soccer Fan Dies After 11 Sleepless Nights Watching Euro 2012

Changsha, China – A young Chinese soccer fan took a hard entry into the annals of sports fan martyrdom after spectating Euro 2012 for 11 sleepless days and nights in Poland and the Ukraine. Jiang Xiaoshan ended his marathon viewing session by flying back to China on Sunday, showering and falling asleep for the very last time. Xiaoshan passed away from exhaustion complicated by the effects of alcohol, tobacco and lack of sleep. As a sports fan myself, I am in awe of this man’s performance. He bossed his way through damn near 2 straight weeks of non-stop sports spectating but unfortunately, did not live to tell about it.

Xiaoshan died doing what he loved. He will be missed.
